HOOF CARE

HoofTalk, Inc. offers hoof care services for horses all over Texas and the country, although the majority of our work is based in Austin, Texas and the surrounding areas. Proper and frequent trimming of hooves is critical to the health and wellbeing of your entire horse, which is why we recommend that your horse be trimmed every 6-8 weeks by a HoofTalk farrier. Maintaining your horses' hooves by way of HoofTalk's natural balance trimming techniques is the best way to prevent a variety of lamenesses and insure that your equine remains comfortable. Our knowledgeable farriers will be happy to service your horses and educate you about HoofTalk's unique natural balance methods in the process.

Service Area:

HoofTalk, Inc. provides services without travel charge to all customers within the 512 area code, unless a "1" is necessary to dial out.

Cost for Customers Within Service Area:

Trim $35/horse
(Multiple horse discount: $30/horse if trimming 5 or more at once)

Shoe $85/horse
(Multiple horse discount: $75/horse if shoeing 3 or more at once)

Cost for Customers Outside of Service Area:

When outside the service area, an additional $0.40/mile will be charged for each mile that the customer lives beyond the regular service area. This is to offset expenses such as gas and wear and tear on vehicles.
