THERE'S HOPE
Before Trim: This horse's hoof shows an extreme case of inattention. The hoof has grown too long and will eventually break off too short if left this way.
During Trim: This view shows the length of the hoof from underneath. Notice how the quarter has completely broken off and the toe exhibits large cracks.
After Trim: Improved hooves can be seen looking much more healthy after Bergy's trim. There are still remnants of toe cracks, which will grow out in 3-6 months if properly maintained.
Warmblood Before: This horse demonstrates a toe left too long with an underslung heel. Hooves like this are a recipe for isaster, which can lead to a variety of problems, including bowed tendons and shin bucks.
Warmblood After: After Bergy's trim, the toe has been shortened and backed up, and the heel is shortened to establish a correct HoofTalk shoeing.
